My Journey

Let me take you on a journey through my life.

I am Melissa Blokland, a mother and the founder of ZERA Xclusive. My story is rooted in the belief that every passion deserves exposure, providing smaller entrepreneurs with a platform to share their stories and connect with a broader audience.

My journey began during my time studying Small Business and Retail Management in Rotterdam, where I was part of an entrepreneurial environment filled with creators, innovators, and aspiring business owners. As part of my studies, we had to start our own business, gaining firsthand experience in building and managing ventures.

During this time, I was also introduced to the world of robotics, IoT, and innovation, which showed the importance of creativity and innovation for businesses of all sizes. I also volunteered every Thursday at Venture Café, a hub of creativity and entrepreneurship, and joined the ECE incubator program where I developed a concept for a 'Celebration Box.'
